I ended up purchasing this current version since it was required by my coding instructor for HIM Degree at the university. We've jumped right in it. I have to say that it is easy to use - the only thing is that we used this book as a companion to another book so for me, I feel like the two books go hand-in-hand. The other book goes into details about the guidelines for coding and summarizes how this coding book would be used. It's not to say that this coding book can't be used solo, it can if you read the notes at the beginning of each section. The one con I would say is that because it's an enormous book, it carries so much information that the font is on the smaller size. Unfortunately, I don't think one can do much about that but if you prefer bigger size font, well then you may have an issue.
This book is well organized the guidelines are in the front., at the bottom of the each page are symbols for new codes etc., the tabular in the back of the book is color coded by letter at the beginning of the codes.
The book is very well laid out and color coded making it easy to use. I use it for work.
The book was everything that was advertised. When ordered it was delivered when promised.
