This is a great book on some of the pithy teachings of Rumi. If you are looking for a story of his life this is not the book for you.The content is well organized and the card set that is with it is similar to Tarot ( I am not sure how Sufis' would justify that) but for what it is I would highly recommend it.It is basically a one a day reading type of thing. IE- pick a card and read it for that day. It also offers some card patterns for an overall psychic divination readings.
Love love love this! A must have for any Rumi fan & student!! I like how the cards have different categories and are color coded on one side. I also really like the simple meditative artwork and design. Holding true to Rumi's Sufi-Islam inspiration while also being universally appealing. The books also have just the right amount of detail, but is by no means a history of Rumi. I would like to be helpful to prospective buyers & note that the cards are a bit thinner than expected, the box is also made out of paper, not very hard or heavily laminated... so don't ever think these will survive a liquid spill! :D
I own many oracle decks and this is one of the most elegant, eloquent decks I've seen. The poetry is beautiful and heart-touching and can really be used for a great reading.
I find these cards a bit too large for my hands and use,and a bit too obscure for readings. I find I have to look at themand then think on them a day or two before I can come up with anything.

Beautiful cards accompanied by a deeply insightful booklet. So glad I ordered this set....it's one to be treasured.
This has become my favorite deck. I pick a card daily for guidance and love the book and history of Rumi.
